Mondays: adult Pottery Courses only
Tuesdays*: adult Art Classes only
Wednesday to Saturday 10am-5pm
(*plus Tuesdays in school holidays):
Pottery Painting, Collections, Potters Wheel, Parties & Groups
Selected Friday evenings: Paint & Prosecco
Sundays: closed
Opening Hours change between school holidays and term-time:
In term-time we run courses and events on different days, go out to schools/welcome groups to the Studio etc.
Please check the calendar before visiting to avoid disappointment.
Activities:
Baby Prints: please contact the Studio to book your appointment, to ensure our baby print specialist is available to help you.
Potters Wheel, Parties or Group enquiries, including team building: please email. Provide as much information as you can: preferred activity, date, group size, ages etc. so we can check availability for you.
Pottery Painting: Walk-Ins are welcome however, Booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment - details below*.
Painting Groups of 7 or more, or Parties please contact the Studio so we can book the number of tables required for you: your group will need more than one table.
*Advance Pottery Painting bookings: guarantee your table, at the time you want, with enough seats for everyone in your group
Please choose the smallest available table with enough seats for every member of your group, including you! (max 2 non-painters per group). This way there will be enough tables for everybody who would like to enjoy a Pottery Painting activity at Hands-on Art.
For groups of 7 or more please email so we can book multiple tables for your group.
A £10 deposit is required to secure your table. The deposit is taken off the cost of the items you paint during your visit.

Collecting your fired pottery:

Your pottery collection date is written on your payment receipt: sent to you as a text from SumUp before you leave the Studio, take a screenshot to find the receipt again easily. Show this text/screenshot receipt when you pop in to collect so we can find it for you straightaway.

The current turnaround for collection is two weeks after your visit.

We will only keep your pottery for ONE Month after the collection date - at this point, if we haven't heard from you, we will assume you no longer wish to collect and dispose of it for you.

Pottery can only be collected on the days the Studio is open for pottery painting - please check the Opening Hours Calendar below to avoid disappointment.
